Shamelessly stolen from juno_magic1. Of the fic you’ve written, which are you most proud of?Harmonic Resolution
, hands down.2. Favorite tense (past/present/future)
This depends on the story to be told. Most of my fics are in past tense, and I am comfortable with that. But some (well, at least one) are in present tense, and that's fine, too. I can't imagine writing in future tense, but now that I've said that, I may well challenge myself, lol.3. Favorite POV (first/second/third/etc)
Most of what I've written is in third, and a couple or so in first. I don't even know what my favourite one is. I guess it depends on the story, how it unfolds, etc.4. What are some themes you love writing about?
Spiritual. 5. What inspires you to write?
The story that needs to be told.6. Thoughts on critique
I very much welcome critique during the writing stage and towards the end of the writing stage. I pick and choose my alpha and beta readers by how much they know on a given subject, by how perceptive they are, by how honest they are. Once I post my fic, I honestly don't care about "critique" unless it's really constructive, which, to date, has not happened.7. Create a character on the spot…. NOW!
She, who was a force to be reckoned with. She, who was honesty personified. She, who had fallen in love with a demon. She flailed. Big time. How the fuck can I be in love with a demon???
But deep inside, she knew her mission, and falling in love with a demon would only further her growth and power. She sighed deeply. And let go. Letting go was always a good thing.8. Is there a character you love writing for the most? the least? why?
I adore writing Snape. And Hermione. And Lucius. Snape because I feel an affinity there. Hermione because she's simply awesome. And Lucius? Well, I can redeem him to my heart's content, can't I? ;)9. A passage from a WIP
Her reply was drowned by a waiter bringing her pizza and salad. She concentrated on that for a couple of minutes before answering him.
“I am. And so are you, aren’t you?”
His smile was open; there was nothing fake about it. “I am.” He said it so softly it nearly escaped her in the ambient noise. Then he straightened and said, louder this time, “Do you live in London?”
“Yes. I left home as soon as I was old enough and somehow settled here.” Sigrun turned back to the food in front of her.10. What are your strengths wrt writing?
I think my strength is minimalism. Though I'm aware that sometimes it's simply too minimalistic. I just don't like wasting words.11. What are your weaknesses wrt writing?
Well, minimalism. Also, I see the world in a way that others don't see it, and I don't take that into account when writing.12. What’s your favorite place for writing resources?
Books, Google, Thesaurus, Dictionary, people.13. Who are your favorite writers?
That's a loaded question because I don't read much fiction. Soooo.... Jamie James, Peter Moon, Len Horowitz (don't even know if that's spelled correctly), and then there is Jane Austen for comfort reading.
